If you’ve been following this site or my email list for any length of time, it’s likely you know that my online business really started to take off when I started selling digital products as opposed to doing freelance WordPress development work.
What eCommerce Plugin for WordPress is Best?
Over the past few years I’ve used various WordPress plugins to sell and deliver my ebooks, video courses and WordPress plugins. When I created FooPlugins.com with my business partner we spent some time investigating the eCommerce platform for WordPress that would best fit our needs.
In the end we settled on using the Easy Digital Downloads plugin by Pippin Williamson. At the time it was a fairly new plugin in the eCommerce WordPress world, but we saw great potential and liked the development methods behind it.
Time Tested Results
We’ve been utilizing EDD for almost a year now and have been very happy with it. Over this past year I’ve also had the opportunity to form a friendship with Pippin as we’ve discussed EDD-related things via Twitter, Skype, and email and also at several WordCamps.
I decided that it would be a benefit to those people either just getting started with digital products, or who already have digital products but are looking for an alternative to the WordPress eCommerce plugins they’re already using, to create a tutorial course specifically about the Easy Digital Downloads plugin.
The Easy Digital Downloads Video Course
