Many business owners find themselves at one time or another where they have to (or want to) take care of certain tasks on their own. One of which is updating their own website, content, graphics, and everything in-between.
Updating images on a website can be a daunting task by those who are not designers, however there are some free image editors out there that can assist you with this.
Before choosing one of these free image editors, consider these questions:
- What do you want your end result to be, how do you want to use this software: convert a digital photo to a more Web-friendly image format, or even something as simple as cropping an image for a desktop background.
- How easy do you find the software to use? can you edit your images easily or are you frustrated and still feel that you need to call a web professional?
- What platform are you using? Windows or Mac.
Here are three of my picks for free image editors, keep in mind this is a small list of what is out there but these are the most popular ones. I singled the these programs out because of the amount free support and forums that are available online.
