There are more blogging tools than I care to list here, but my favorite blogging tool doesn’t have a keyboard, doesn’t have a wireless connection, and only takes two “AAA” batteries. What is it? My digital voice recorder.

Why?
I used to keep lists of blog post ideas using a spiral notebook, but this method quickly got out of hand. I soon ended up with eleven different notebooks filled with ideas. Yes, eleven. Not exactly the best organization technique. On top of that, most of my ideas came in the middle of the night and I would wake up and scribble in whatever notebook was closest to my bed, in the dark. Needless to say the handwriting was usually unreadable and after a couple of days, it was hard to remember what I had written, let alone read it. So I switched to using a digital voice recorder and have been more organized ever since.
