WordPress for Old Farts – Even Old People Can Run a Successful Business Online

Last week I hit a milestone, well two actually. I turned 40 and my wife and I are having a baby! So, what does this have to do with running a successful online business with WordPress? Read on and I’ll explain.

Online Business with WordPress
Happy 40th Birthday!

Yep, last week I turned 40. Because of this and the knowledge that soon, I will have a little human that will be totally dependent on me, I spent some time reflecting on my life and my online business. I feel like I’ve accomplished quite a bit so far but there is so much more to do and I’m looking forward to what’s next.

A Successful Mindset is the Key

Of course, when a milestone like this comes along, it’s sometimes easy to get stuck in negative thinking and I’ll admit, in the last few weeks that happened to me.

Anyone who knows me will tell you that I’m a positive person who’s always looking on the bright side of things and has a tendency to find the good in anyone, even they do wrong.

Sometimes that can get me in trouble and cause a rift, but life is just too short to live it worrying about “what might happen” or who is “out to get you”.

I relate my Internet Marketing and WordPress Web Development career success directly to this positive attitude. Why am I telling you this?

You Can Do It Too!

You’re reading this article for a reason. We’ve provided value to you in some way, and it’s likely you’re also interested in succeeding with your online business, and it’s even more likely that you’re utilizing WordPress as one of the tools to help you achieve that success.

I appreciate you. I appreciate that you took the time to sign up for our updates and/or purchase our digital products or courses. I don’t say this lightly, I mean it with all sincerity.

Thank You!

Now, onto the bigger milestone. As I mentioned above, my wife and I are having a baby. This is our first. She is at 20 weeks and we just visited the Dr. to confirm that the baby is doing very well:)

This was an overwhelming relief to both of us, as we had a bit of a slow start and as you now know, we’re getting to that age when it’s “now or never”.

You May be Wondering Why I’m Telling You These Personal Things.

It’s because I want you to know that I’m a regular person, just like you. I’m not some hyped up “guru” trying to swindle the masses for quick money with the products and services we offer here on WP Pro Business.

I’m a man doing what I love and trying my best to help others along the way, while generating revenue at the same time with honest opinions, quality products, and freely available articles and tutorials to help you do the same with your WordPress powered online business.

My life path is taking yet another turn and I simply wanted to reach out and let you know a bit more of who I am, what I do, and that I really appreciate that you have shown interest in me and our team at WP Pro Business.

THANK YOU, and here’s to your continued success!
